“Dimitris Vayenas “<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

\"DimitrisDimitris Vayenas is a Professor of Environmental Systems at the Chemical Engineering Department, of the University of Patras, Greece. He has extensive research and industrial experience in water and waste water treatment using pilot- and industrial-scale bioreactors. His research interests include biological potable water and agro-industrial wastewater treatment, composting of agro-industrial residues, constructed wetlands, biodiesel production using oleaginous microorganisms, use of microalgae and cyanobacteria for lipid accumulation and wastewater purification, and modeling. He has also significant experience in innovation and entrepreneurship. He has coordinated several large-scale national and international collaboration projects. Prof. Vayenas has published over 70 peer-reviewed journal papers.<\/p>\n
