D.Sc.), University of Patras (1984).&nbsp; Research in the crystallization of inorganic salts with emphasis in biomineralization. Over 220 publications.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Abstract<\/strong><br \/>\nNitrogen and phosphorus may be recovered from water and wastewater. The principles of nucleation and crystal growth from solutions are presented to show that it is possible to recover N and P essential nutrients in the form of crystalline struvite (MgNH4PO4\u00b76H2O).
