It is with great honor that the Laboratory of Sustainable Waste Management Technologies (LSWMT) of the Hellenic Open University (HOU), under the scientific supervision of Professor Ioannis Kalavrouziotis from the School of Science and Technology organizes an International Conference titled: “Environmental Protection and Upgrading: Past, Present, and Future” in celebration of World Environment Day.
The event will take place on June 5th, 2025, at 09:00 local time, and will offer the opportunity for participation through both in-person and remote presentations. More specifically, the in-person presentations of the workshop will be held at the premises of the Hellenic Open University in Patras (Aristotelous 28, Amphitheater HOU, Building D).
The workshop will focus on the latest developments and challenges in the field of environmental protection, with distinguished scientists from around the world presenting the most recent trends and innovations in their scientific fields.
The workshop is aimed at undergraduate and graduate students, PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and other scientists who wish to deepen their knowledge of developments in the field of environmental protection.
